GOA: Distribution to the same backend but different locations (plants)

Hello,

We are implementing SRM 4.0 (SAPKIBKS09 Support Package level) with Extended Classic Scenario.

We have only one backend system integrated with the SRM system.

We have the following problem / question:

When we distribute one GOA to the backend it gets distributed correctly if all items are distributed to the same plant (location) of the backend.

If some items are distributed to one location and other items are distributed to another location, the GOA is distributed incorrectly (items lost the plant and price in the distribution).

At GOA header - Distribution, we put for example several lines:

Backend Purchase Organization 1 - Location A

Backend Purchase Organization 1 - Location B

At GOA item level - Distribution, we put:

Item 1

Backend Purchase Organization 1 - Location A X Distribute

Backend Purchase Organization 1 - Location B

Item 2

Backend Purchase Organization 1 - Location A

Backend Purchase Organization 1 - Location B X Distribute

So, it could be possible to distribute to different plants of the same Backend or only to different plants of different Backends?

Hi Rafael,

a GOA can be distributed once for each Company Code / POrg Combination. This comes from the idea, that there are many SAP System into which a GOA is distributed. Therefore the GOA is available already for all Plants in your system.

The important information regarding Plants are the Conditions. Make sure you get the Plants and their specific pricing down to R/3 (there are some Notes about it) and you should be fine.

Atul, thanks for the notes, but they aren´t applicable to my problem.

Claudia, thanks for your response. We have following your indications (using conditions at location level, instead specifiying location in the distribution of the GOA) and it works fine.
