Alternatives for ECL viewer

Hello,

We have implemented DMS in a Citrix environment.

Applicationfiles of types *.dwg, *.tif and *.jpg are displayed using the ECL viewer.

Unfortunately the ECL viewer is not guaranteed to work properly in Citrix environment.

We found out that in our system landscape the ECL viewer works fine in test, but does not work properly in production.

The number of viewers available on the market is enormous.

Question is: which one can be recommended (other than ECL)?

I'd like to avoid re-inventing the wheel.

Requirements

1) Display and print.

2) Redlining secondary.

3) Filetypes *.dwg, *.tif and *.jpg; 3D if possible.

4) Preferably freeware.

5) Guaranteed to work in Citrix environment

Actually this last requirement is a knockout.

Hi,

from SAP side we have no information about aternative viewers for CITRIX. However I googled for it and foudn for example the following application for DWG files:

DWGSee DWG Viewer 2.36 (http://3d2f.com/tags/viewer/citrix/)

For TIF and JPG files I would recommend you to use the standard windows viewer by using %AUTO% in DC30 for example. To differ between CITRIX and local environment I would recommend you to create two different frontend types.
