Reassigning Datasource to a new planning area

Hi,

Currently we have a datasource in a planning area. However this planning area was not as per the naming conventions and hence a new planning area had to be created. No we need to reassign the datasource to this new planning area. Is there any way to achieve this without deleting the datasource and recreating a new one with the same name?

There may be possible approaches through backend database table updates. However I would not recommend that. You would need to regenerate the datasources. Else there will be surely issues while migrating or even while doing backups.
