Install Excel with Viewer Error - SAP GUI 7.10/BEx 7.0

I have installed SAP GUI 7.10 and BEx 7.0 but I am facing some issues with BW applications in the new version i.e. I am getting error message to install Excel as Viewer while executing some transactions like Inventory reports.

Please let me know if anybody is using BEx 7.0 without any issues. It would be helpful if you can share the installable files and steps used in upgrading.

Issue got resolved after installing some BW patches.

is microsoft Excel installed on you PC/laptop ?

if not install it first

we used follwing sap note
