Hi all,
I have a fresh PI 7.0 installation which has basic configuration. Everything seems to be working fine, but I need to configure CCMS for RWB. I have followed the How to Monitor Exchange Infrastructure (NW2004) for CCMS configuration, created the CSMREG user, exported the configuration agent file and used Visual Administration to register the agent with appropriate users & roles & passwords.
It won't work. In RZ21 -> Topology -> Agents for Local System, my system status is SHUTDOWN and all the RFC's created by registration (such as N3STAT.<host>.<instance_number> type TCP/IP) return the error program <host>.n3stat.<instance_number> not registered.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Read through this documentation:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/77/d9ba3b3bf00152e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
Also, you should review the SAP netweaver guides "Monitoring setup guide for SAP Netweaver 2004s".
which you can find at https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/operationsnw70
Those documents will explain the agents and how they work.

Have you installed and configured sapccmsr and/or SAPCCM4X?
