when iam trying to create pgi system is showing error message , :- material xxxxx is not defined sales from india

Rahul,

This happens as u have not maintained tax classification rules properly and assign Tax category for IN.

This is u can maintain in SD->BAsic functions->Taxes

Hi Rahul,

This is because, for the country india(IN), the tax type/Tax category(ex:MWST) is not assigned in the system. So, please go to IMG,SD,Basic functions, taxes,define tax determination rules (or) OVK1. maintain that. Also please maintain tax relevancy for master records,.

I think now ur problem wil be solved. if any queries, please post further.

Pls Maintain the tax indicators for this material in material master ,Double clicked on error message and Check for Diagnosis

Hi Rahul,

Go to MM02 enter the material number then you select the Sales Org 1 data tab there you check about tax classification screen(respect India), is it activated or not if not go to OVK1 transaction there you maintain tax type with respect to country India.
