SAP Integration with Telcordia Granite

We have an opportunity to suggest integration best practice for one of the largest Oil&Gas processing companies. This company has SAP , but manages inventory using Granite (A Telcordia product). I need to know how we can leverage SAP Netweaver and SAP MDM for integrating Granite Inventory application with SAP ( my SAP ) ?

I have had a look at the Granite product on the Telcordia website. From what I see it has no certified integration to SAP. It would also appear to have some matching functionality to MDM.

What I am not sure about is what you are trying to achieve. You wouldn't use MDM to map data held in Granite to import to mySAP environment.MDM is the place to hold, manage, aggregate and disseminate the inventory data you speak of.

My organization is an Inventory specialist, and we work closely with the MDM team in SAP. I would be happy to discuss with you in more detail.

I am not sure of the scenario you are talking about. If you are talking about transactional integration between SAP and Granite, the SAP XI (Part of the NetWeaver stack) is the solution for you.

If you are looking Master data consolidation between SAP and Granite, then SAP MDM is the solution.
