MDM-BI INTEGRATION

Hi .

I am working on MDM-BI Integration. I have installed MDM ABAP API on the BI side. i have configured the connectivity between MDM and BI.I think i have done it correctly. Now i have created open hub destination on the BI side, But it does not get activated , Upon activation of which a repository will get crated on the BI side.

Can anybody tell me what can be the problem, Also how do we monitor where the problem is.

Hi,

I can suggest you a work around .You create repository in MDM and use a BI Extractor program to load master data(eg customer master data) into the MDM repository.For this in the BI side you need to create a info object for Customer Master Record.Extractor Programme code I can provide you..

But what about open hub destination on the BI by which i am going to send the data to MDM System.

I think now in BI we need not to wirte a code for extraction, But it is IN BUILT BY SAP.

Have u worked on it, and if u help me i will give as much point as u want.

Hi Devinder,

IN BI system go to mdmapic transaction.Then check if u have properly mentioned dbms host name ,server name and repository name.Also check if Class provider u selected there corresponds to the version of mdm u r using.Below iam providing u link to do the same.
