Idoc posted in R/3 .. but extended segment is missing..!!

Hi all,

I have extended the idoc by adding one more segment ("ZE1EDMOD") to the stanard one.

Before:

Msg type : Orders

Basic type : orders05

After:

Msg type : Orders

Basic type : orders05

extension type : orders05

Now iam doing file to Idoc scenario and mapping is correct and resultant idoc is showing correctly in sxmb_moni.

But when the idoc reached to R/3 system. It is not showing my extended idoc(Not showing the segment "ZE1EDMOD" which i have added).

Apart from that segment , its showing all the remaining values and not showing my extended segment.

I couldn't able to find where it is going wrong..??

Can anyone pls suggest whether i have miss anything to add or wats the problem?

Check idx2 in XI. The metadata should be present for the extended idoc. In case its not there, u have to delete the existing entry and recreate the new one with extended segment detail

Hi Prateek,

The Metadata is present.No problem on that side.

Even the output Idoc xml is showing correctly in SXMB_MONI.

once it is reaching SAP.. it is not showing my extended type and the added segment.

wondering whats going wrong?

ANy problem with process code.. but idoc which is reached itself not showing the extended idoc type and the added segment.

wats happening?????????????????

Can you tell me the Receiver Interface Name that you see in SXMB_MONI?

I gave the reciver interface as Orders.orders05 instead of

orders.orders05.orders05.

you are extending the standard idoc by adding segment('ZE1EDMOD").

Before:

Msg type : Orders

Basic type : orders05

After:

Msg type : Orders

Basic type : orders05

*extension type : orders05*

u mentioned extension type as order05, it was wrong.

it has to be start with Zorder05.

t.code to extend the standard idoc is we30.

where you need to mention the idoc name followed by two radio buttons

1. basic type

2. extension type

select extension type and create

then it will ask create new.

please confirm me, you already done the all the steps.
