i want the output of the smart form "HRRU_T5" in Russian language..

but the output is not displayed properly..

help me to solve this problem

Go to SE63

select the following menu path

Translation->ABAP Objects -> Other long texts

then a pop up will appear

in that click on FS to get another level

in that select SSF

Now you will get the screen for translation

In that give the object name

and in the translation block select source language and target language .

If suppose source language is in German and target language is in English then you can change it by choosing Source/Target Language push button

then again select language for target language .

and press edit .

If translation is already there then it will show the data in the below editor otherwise balnk editor will appear.

Yah I understand your probelm . That why you need to update bthe version of adobe.

I can imagine that you are getting the info as rectangles or may be lines .

Just update your adobe it will rectify the issue

One more thing Ask your superior they will give you the printer name .suppose if you are developing for german client would have done some printer settings for german text. Thats not your job to change the printer settings. So better ask your TL or superior to give the printer name.

I think adobe updation need only when you save the output on the desktop and you are not able to see the output exactly.

Still update the adobe version and check it.

i am not using adobe.

i want to know why the form is displaying output in some other format.

it is not displaying rectangles,,,

it displays text but not in the Russian language

When you print preview the layout it will show in adobe only.

Just ask your TL to give the printer name they might have different setting for this. And this is not your job to change the printer settings. They will give different printer name.

If you are sure that every thing is in place and still getting same issue then check whether transalation is done using Text modules .

and check out which text module is used to print the text and was it transalated to russian language ?

I hope you know where to check the trnsalation text.i.e SE63

Just update your adobe reader with latest version. That may be the problem with your printer or with the version of adobe reader.

Mostly with adobe version. It will not recognise the letters of different nlanguages.

I have faced the same problem when I was doing developing smartform for different languages. and I have updated the adobe version and I got the exact output.

when i execute the form i am not able to see the exact characters in the print preview itself.
