Uploading a taxonoy structure

Hello-

I am trying to upload a new taxonomy structure into MDM.

I am trying to get through the step " Create Hierarchy field" but that field seems to have been greyed out.

Please let me know what I might be doing wrong

Hi

In console while Repository is loaded u can not create hierarchy.

tht's the reason ur getting grayed out.

For tht in Console first u need to unload the repository and after that create hierarachy.

I think it may help u

The option is grayed out, probably bacause u are using excel to upload the hierarchy. Excel is not an updatable data source.

Hi Nandine,

Select Both the Source and Destination Table, in the partitioned Field/Value tab create the category which you want to import to the Taxonomy mode.

In the Map Field/Value tab map the hierarchy field created on the source side with the Category table on the destination side.

Select all the hierarchy and add Branch as a child on the destination side in the category table, then import this,it will help you to upload taxonomy structure in the Data manager.
