Hi all.
I am currently researching on how to issue a direct print of a
PDF document to a local printer without displaying it in the
browser.
So far I managed it to attach the PDF XSTRING to the
response and the browser aks whether to save or to open the
PDF docment. I added a new mime type to the local machine
and connected it with a batch that starts the adobe reader
with print parameters.
This works, but the user is still able to save the file and so on.
Maybe someone knows how to configure the local machin to
supress the download dialog and directly execute the
document so the printer dialog opens automazically.
Thanks in davcnae,
Sascha
... or any other idea on how set the number of allowed printouts of a PDF document or how to print it directly?
Cheers,
Sascha
