Output type for VT02N

Hi Gurus,

I have smartforms that needs to be printed on the basis of output type.

Please advise how i fetch the different different smartforms on the basis of output type where it is defined ???

Any suggestion welcome.

Hi Navadeep,

In every output type you have to assign a smart form for every kind of medium. That means one for print out, one for mail, one for fax. if the format of all mediums is same you can use one smart form.

You can assign smart form to output type, especially you want it for shipment(VT02N) you need to follow the path as under.

SPRO>Logistics Execution>Shipping>basic functions>output control-->output type.

Is that path ok??

There are some parameters already defined for same Under papplication V6 like MALB - Material Label etc..

so where we need to defined our smartforms name for particular output type like ALTR ..etc.

use tx NACE u get all the type of applications and the output type,condition records,procedures access sequence.

In the output type u assign smart forms based on the requirement of the client which is done by Abaper
