Where to download the NWDS?

Hello to all,

just returning from the JA100 course, i would like to download the NWDS which - according to what the teacher told us - is a free-of-charge download. I REALLY tried, but i didn't find it in the downloads. Can anybody help me?

Hi,

You can download the latest version of NWDS from the Service Market Place, https://websmp202.sap-ag.de.

And you can find the installation guide at https://websmp202.sap-ag.deinstguides->SAP Netweaver (from Left menu)->Release 2004s->Installation->Installation Clients

Also you can find the sneak preview in SDN. Remember to make sure that the version/ SP level of NWDS is always at the same level as the engine in which you are deploying to.

The first site you named is the general SAP service site where I've been searching on for hours. Could you provide the click-through-path to the download site?

Well, this is the trial version of the whole netweaver stuff. What I'm looking for is a FREE download for only the eclips-based development environment (NWDS)...

Use the left navigation

SWDC> Download> Support Packages & Patches-->

Entry by Application Group-->

SAP Netweaver> SAP Netweaver> SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 (2004S)>Entry by Component>Developer Studio

Now select the version you would like to download..
