Add more space to tblspace (you have space available at the OS level and it doesn't mean that tablespace automatically grabs that space).

thanks

Thanks for your instant reply

but each of my sapdata directory has enough space

each is of 10 GB and the available space is 8 gb approx in each one

how can this happen?

i am seriously confused,please guide me through this

- you don't have to check if the tablespace is full, it is full ))

but

orapdr > sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
SQL> select sum(bytes) from dba_free_space where tablespace_name = 'PSAPPDR700';

- This shows you the existing files of the tablespace

orapdr >  du -k /oracle/PDR/sapdata*/pdr700_*/*

- you can do this in SQLplus as well

orapdr > sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
SQL> select FILE_NAME, TABLESPACE_NAME, BYTES, MAXBYTES from dba_data_files where tablespace_name = 'PSAPPDR700';

- you can add a new file in SQLplus (your brtools might not work yet), substitute the X, check which sapdata has space, think about the size of the file, for example 10000M

orapdr > mkdir /oracle/PDR/sapdataX/pdr700_X
SQL> alter tablespace PSAPPDR700 add datafile '/oracle/SID/sapdataX/pdr700_X/pdr700.dataX' size 10000M;

DbSl Trace: ORA-1403 when accessing table SAPUSER

you can ignore this

(IMP) ERROR: DbSlExeModify/DbSlLobPutPiece failed

rc = 99, table "REPOSRC"

(SQL error 1691)

error message returned by DbSl:

ORA-01691: unable to extend lob segment SAPPDR.SYS_LOB0000009772C00034$$ by 1024 in tablespace PSAPPDR700

The tablespace PSAPPDR700 is full. If one of your sapdata filesystem is full, you have to increase it. If no fs is full add more datafiles to the tablespace. Just 'Retry' your installation after that.

If you need more help, please tell us how many sapdata's you have and how many datafiles PSAPPDR700 has, and their size.
