I have SAP functional experience
I am new to SAP administration
I have installed SAP 4.7EE in my system.
My question is, can i access this server from other computer (client) through SAP GUI installed on client using internet.
if so, what are the settings or configurations need to be done in server.
SAP Server <---> internet <---> client (SAP GUI)
Can anybody help.
I don't know whether this is the right forum to post this question. please advice me if wrong posted.
Thanks & Regards

Hi Surya,
do you know, what the internet is? Of course you can connect to servers using
the internet, that is, what TCP/IP provides.
I strongly recommend to learn something about networking basics.

Hi Tobias.
I understand that, connectivity not only just with TCP/IP address, but also with ports. As i mentioned, i am new to basis, i don't know what are the ports using by SAP to communicate.
but after some research in the internet regarding SAP ports, I configured some settings related to networking and opened some ports, and able to connect.
Thanks.
I solved the issue as i said above.
Thanks to all for sharing your ideas.
