Creating Document Info record

While creating Document info record the following

error appears

This change is not allowed

Message no. 26455

But the document info record gets created.

how to avoid this message what might be the problem

i have worked in document management in ECC 5 & 6

there is no problem with ECC5

But the above error appers while updating Document info record in ECC 6
