NW04-EP Sneek Preview License Check Failed

Hello Experts,

I have been running NW04-EP sneak preview on my laptop from the past 6-8 months and never had any problem with it. Now all of a sudden the j2ee server stops after 30 minutes after i start because the license check failed. Is this normal. I mean does the license expire in the sneak preview version. If yes, then is there any way to renew the license.

Any help would be appreciate. I have developed a lot of content on my portal and i really don't want to loose it because of licensing issues.

Hello,

unfortunately the "180-day evaluation license" has expired. Have a look at the first paragraph of <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/downloaditem.sdn?res=http://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/uuid/cfc19866-0401-0010-35b2-dc8158247fb6">sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04</a>. I think for the Java Preview you can't extend the license. But you can export all your content via the Portal Transport system, uninstall and reinstall the NW04 and reimport the content.

Probably you can use the common solution which works by nearly every expired product.

Send your Computer "back to the past".
