Hi All,
I have a Master Degree In Computer Science (MCA [1998] From India).
Presently working as a Senior Programmer for a company located in NJ from 2003.
S/W Back Ground: Java, XML, VB, SQL, and JavaScript
Database: Oracle, Informix, and MYSQL
Platform: Windows, UNIX
In the present company most of my skills are used in printing languages like VIPP, XMPIE, OCE DDA, Pervasive, Data junction, Postscript. Most of the time i write basic java programs [Core java] and scripts (Unix shell)
I want to make carrier in SAP. But I have no idea where to start.
I'm interested in learning SAP NetWeaver.
Please Help

It is good decision which u have opted to learn Netweaver.
But there r different areas in Netweaver
i.e
XI(Exchange Infrastructure)
EP(Enterprise Portal)
MDM(Master Data Management)
BI(Business Information Warehouse)
XI is completly configuration . Here we can import java programs. Since u r a Java developer it's an added advantage.
EP requires J2EE concepts like JSP,EJB,XML..
So , u can either opt for EP or XI.
