Hi,
My client is having 2 departments in purchase. They work independently. One controls the price, rate fixing, and contracts etc. other one deal with delivery schedule. The second one is basically store coordination department.
The requirement is when creating the PO, the qty, price, etc should be created by purchase officer where as only delivery schedule is prepared by coordination departmen.
First Po will be created in purchase dept with qty, value, plant, prcining procedure, etc.
then it goes to coordination dept to fill the details of delivery schedule.
We need a control in purchase order so that departments cannot change the data of each other in PO.
Purchase officer should not be in position to change delivery schedule and coordination officer should not be able to change the purchase data. Each other dept can see the data in display mode.
How can I achieve this? Can we have field control authorization like stuff?
An earlier set of replies has gone awol...
