Short Dump

Hi

This is regarding INC000000022342: SHORTDUMPS ,please check if something wrong with ORA database,

Investigated and found the following:

ABAP Dump DBIF_DSQL2_DEFAULT_CR_ERROR raised while distribution upload.

Checked in system log and found that,

BY2 Database error 18 at COM

BY0 > ORA-00018: maximum number of sessions exceeded

BYJ Function COMMIT on connection R/3 failed

R68 Perform rollback

AB0 Run-time error "DBIF_DSQL2_DEFAULT_CR_ERROR" occurred

AB1 > Short dump "080116 232041 ciBPE CPICBPEBPE " generated

BY2 Database error 18 at COM

BY0 > ORA-00018: maximum number of sessions exceeded

BYJ Function COMMIT on connection R/3 failed

R38 Error at DB commit, return code 001024

R18 SAP Commit Failed

R68 Perform rollback

R47 Delete session 001 after error 009

Maximum number of processes were exceeded while distribution load. Current parameter in INIT<SID>.ora is SESSIONS : 96

Shall we increase number of processes parameter and Need to check any parallel jobs which are occupying oracle sessions ??

Hi,

increase number of processes parameter and restart the oralce

also look at sap Note 398927 - ORA error as the dimensions of the parameters are too small for reference
