Performance issue (tcode DSWP: Determining warning messages from CCMS)

Hi!

We use SOLMAN 4.0 (SP 12) with almost 25 solutions in tcode DSWP.

We implement system monitoring for these systems.

Recently we have detected a performance problem in tcode DSWP, when I try to access some solution by pressing on it or just by entering the tcode DSWP:

We get the following warning:

Determining warning messages from CCMS

Are there some techniques to improve the performance?

Can some one recommend some solution (perhaps it is possible to deactivate this future)?

Hi Thom,

Have you already installed CCMS agents, the will speed up communication? That's definitely required in your situation with many systems connected to SolMan.

You can also check CPU, Memory, as recommended by Afi, but I expect that this will not be the bottleneck.

Response times depend on the number of connect systems, number of activated monitoring objects (MTE nodes), number of server, instances.

If you are not satisfied with performance, I would recommend to open a customer message on component SV-SMG-OP or SV-SMG-MON-SYS.

Hi Thom,

It is totaly depend on what you want to do. You can inscrease RAM etc.. I would suggest go for performance tuning. Tuning for database and SAP.
