Search Configuration UI

Hi,

I m working on SRM MDM catalog 1.0.I need to configure the search in WEB Dynpro in UI.For that I need a URL To access the configuration UI .Which URL i need to specify here ???????

Eg:http://<J2EEserver:J2EEport>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~mdmsrmui/MDM_SRM_UI_App

here whats the J2EE server and J2EE port ????????

Can anyone explain the procedure ahead?

Hi Nisha,

To access the Configuration UI, you can use the mentioned below link:

http://SRMServerName:PortNo/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~mdmsrmui/MDM_SRM_UI_App

in the above mentioned link, give the server name as which you are using SRM Server name and the corresponding port But for the accessing the Configuration UI, you have to deploy the Configuration UI (SRMMDMCAT file) on the web server.for access the Configuration UI, use the user name as "Master" as it is preconfigured in the SRM-MDM Repository.

And for accessing the catalog, you can use the mentioned below link:

http://SRM SERVER NAME:Portno/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart?

above mentioned link is for access the EBP of SRM then use the user and pwd to login into that where you can get the link to access the SRM-MDM Catalog if you have defined the external web service in SRM System via using transaction "SPRO" (using Define external web services option).

Hi Nisha,

The J2EE server is the Web Application Server

The WAS on which u have deployed the SCA files

To access the config UI u can try this url

http://J2EEserver:portno/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM

and to access the search UI from the web browser u need to send extra parametrs

http://j2eeserver:portno/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM?sap-locale=EN&HOOK_URL=&mask=&namedSearch=&username=system&... name&server=MDM server IP address&datalanguage=EN
