Hi all,

I have to restrict access to fund centers for specific users. I manage to do that in my own transaction with SU24 and F_FICA_WCT authority object, but it didnt work with other sap transactions, lets say FMSC.

If anyone has an idea plz help.

Thanks,

Alin.

Take a look at the information in the link below which may be of help. Although we do not have that type of restriction on fund centers. There is a field on the master data tab for an authorization group that may be helpful.

Also, check out the following link for authorization objects in FM. This shows authorization objects different from the one that you used...

Hi Alin,

How were you able to achieve the restriction for FMSC to restrict for specific fund center? I am trying the same for FMSB.

I did mention an authirization grp name in the fund center master data and used it in the role auth field (FM_AUTHGRC) but it still did not work. I am still able to change all fund center information (auth obj restriction is not effective).

Appreciate your detailed response wrt Authorization group

Thanks
