Hi,

When i try to give a test connection to the SAPOSS...

to which the connection type is given as 3.

(ie..connection to R/3 system)..

it gives error opening an RFC connection.

The saprouter is ruuning.. and at times it gives an invalid user name or password.

The user name as described in the logon security is OSS_RFC .

The client field is left blank..

Please let me know what needs to be done as this is required for downloading sapnote.

The settings for SAPOSS RFC connectios is as following:

TECHNICAL SETTINGS TAB:

Target System: O01

Msg. Server:

/H/<YourSAPRouter_IP>/S/sapdp99/H/<sapserv_IP>/S/s apdp99/H/oss001

Group: EWA

LOGON SECURITY TAB:

Client: 000

User: OSS_RFC

Password: CPIC

Please tray this and if it is not working please let me know.
