Hi Forum,
I heve a development XI system and a production XI system,
and seperate SLD for each of them,
In development SLD i have created,
1 business system (third party)
1 product and software component
in Repository of Development XI,
i have a file to file scenario,
in directory of Development XI,
i have configured the scenario,
Now i want to transport everything (as explained above) from Development to Production XI system ....including SLD things ...
please tell me the procedure and sequence
Edited by: rana brata de on Jan 18, 2008 9:16 AM
Procedure could be searched on many blogs and forums on sdn
The sequence is:
1. Transport Product and SWC
2. Transport Business and Technical Systems
3. Transport IR
4. Transport ID
5. Do necessary changes in ID and activate

Hi Rana,
There are two methods by which u can transport the object using file and CMS.
Transport process for ID and IR objects is
1) Tools-> Export
2) Ask for two option FIle or CMS
3) Select the any of them either whole SWCV,whole Namespace or individual objects.
4) Finish and it will give the .tpz file
5) pick that file from file sever and follow the import option in ID and IR.
CMS
Now transporting the Dev BS objects to QA you need to follow the below steps.
Once you have created SLD in Dev below transport mechanism is used for transporting the obj from DEV to QA and PROD:
Transport mechanism
1. Create Technical System and Business Systems for the QA system.
2. Create Transport Groups in the Business System.
3. Create Transport Targets in the Source Business SYstem.
Check the link for:

Your SWCV can be exported and imported using TPZ files into the IR.
The ID also use TPZ files and as the objects are imported , the business system details will be filled up .
