Incomming quality certificate

Hi there,

Can we have a control so that if the Quality certificate is not received from the vendor then the GR will not take place or the payement will be blocked ...

Please tell me on the same...

hi

yes you can do this provided you have made the customized settings for certificate type .

while customization of the certificate type there are various options you can provide

Type of control used by the system if the certificate required at goods receipt is not provided. The deciding factor is whether or not an inspection lot is created at goods receipt.

The system allows for the following cases:

With lot: Status in inspection lot Without lot: Blocked stock

With lot: Status in inspection lot Without lot: Error message

With lot: Error message Without lot: Blocked stock

With lot: Error message Without lot: Error message

With lot: Status, no skip-to-stock Without lot: Blocked stock

With lot: Status, no skip-to-stock Without lot: Error message

Hi Thyagarajan,

If the inspection type 01 is active for the matrial then the lot will be created with GR. Am I correct ??

How can we control that the GR will not be done if the certificate is nor received...

Can you please explain in detail

Is that means that if the lot is created then the GR will be done or else block the stock & no GR will be done ....

Please explain me ...

if the lot is created then in the inspection lot status will show certificate is not received, if the inspection lot is not created then the stock will be blocked

Hi Thyagarajan,

Thanks a lot for your response.......but how does SAP will come to know that whether we have received certificate with the batch from vendor........ do we have some provision to maintain that during GR.....

If you activated QM in procurement and certifcate recipt is a must in Define Control Keys and Define Keys for Certificate Processing, then system will prapose a field to enter whether yoiu received the certificate or not.

If the certificate is not received and you entered No during GR, then the inspection will be updated with "certificate not received" and you cannot proceed furthur.

Once you receive the certifcate you can up date the status in QC52, which will update the status in quality inspection that certificate received so that it will allow furthur porcess.

Hi Kaushik,

We have the control for quality certificate.For That, if we make setting in Material master QM view for Certificate, then on recieve the material MIGO ,system ask If Certificate enclosed ? Yes or No,

So on MIGO we have control , if certificate not enclosed.
