Hi,
We have 2 application server in a clustered environment(1 central instance with DB and 1 additional application server).
The First server have all the dialog, background, update, and spool processes while the 2nd server only have dialog processes (in sm50).
Is this a standard configuration for ECC5 with 2 application servers? Can the background, update and spool processes be defined in the 2nd application server?
Thanks,
kbas

Hi Kbas,
You could have even background, update, and spool Processes on the 2nd Application server .

No this is not the standard configuration for ECC with 2 application servers . You can define background, spool or update workprocess in the second server. It all depends on your requirement and load.
