Canu00B4t activate instance profile

Hello,

i´ve installed a new erp2005 ides.

Now i wanted to change the instanceprofile ( parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 ).

But i cannot activate this profile. There is the following error "Unknown error activating XXXX".

Also if discard the changes (leave transaction and go in again) the same error occurs.

What´s the problem?

Hi,

first do following and provide the result

Check individual profiles

Specify the name and version of the profile on the initial screen in transaction RZ10. Then choose Profile -> Check.

Check all profiles of the active server

On the initial screen in transaction RZ10, choose Utilities -> Check all profiles -> Of active servers

this check reports 2 erros:

1) exej2ee j:/.../.../.../jcontrol.exe not found

2) Instance profile missing

Hi,

do install only abap instance or you installed ABAP + JAVA instance ?

did you import the profile in sap using utilities -> import profiles -> of active servers ?

Try to restart the server and check, the same error is occuring again or not
