Alert Configuration....

Hi Guys,

i had a requirement to to throw alerts when message fails adapter engine and integration engine. With the help of the blog given by Michal Krawczyk

/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/09/xi-alerts--step-by-step

i configured my client system according to it and i was not able to generate alerts.

kindly help it is urgent....

Hi,

Did you checked the t-code alrtdisp? check this t-code and varify weather you are able to see the Alerts there or not?

did you check the troubleshooting guide given at the end of the blog?if not,then please check it

secondly check SLG1 and see if alerts were generated

Go to SE38 -> RSALERTTEST. Execute this.Then select the alert category you created and click on execute. Check if you get a mail. In SCOT you must already provide your mail server details.
