Saposcol not started on Application server

Hi,

saposocol started on Central instance and on 2 Application server.

Not started on 1 Application server.

Platform is : SAP R3 4.7 oracle 9.2.0.8 AIX 5.3.

Please help me

Hi,

Login to that particular application server and execute Tcode ST06. Click on the Operating System Collector Button at the top. Next Screen you can check the status and do start stop opearations.

Or from the os level start with the root user with command

saposcol -l

Try to run the saproot.sh <SID> script as root user and script will be in Kernel directory.

Hello Maurizio,

Possibilities :-

1> SAPService<sid> is the user which is associated with SAPOSCOL.

Check the password for this user which is used with the process saposcol.

May be you have changed the password for this user.

stop SAPOSCOL before changing user password

2>Check if your kernel is working properly and it has been patched properly.
