Dear Sachin,

there are many parameters that can influence this.

Could you please give some additional info:

output time: immediately(4) or other (1-3)

Printer: local (then check SU3) or printer defined in SPAD

Is the "print immediately flag set" (TA SU3, condition records TA VV13) ?

Are you using your own printing programs ?

Andreas

Hi, thanks for the update.

as asked by you, i have checked that , print immediately is set", printer is defined in SPAD and records in VV13 is maintatined.

but we are using our own Z transaction to take a print out.

aslo what is the difference between SU3, SU01 and VP01.

Hi,

Check the following...

1. Configure print parameters for printing machine. check whether printer is connected to the system or not.

2. Check the output device for the user id in SU01.

Thanks & regards,

Praveen.

Hi,

There is no printer settings in the SAP standard system. The printer you will configure in the computer will only give you the output given by you.

Ask the user to check his personal settings in SU3. If the output device(printer name) and output immediately are not maintained, please ask him to maintain the entries and then check. It should work fine.

Also check whether the printer is installed in his PC first

hi,

check the desktop settings as i do not think user ids have any role to play in it.
