Message size limit

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the message size for the mapping:

What is the size limit for messages when using the XSLT mapping methods?

What are the maximum message sizes (if any) for the other methods like ABAP mapping, Graphical mapping, JAVA Mapping and XSLT Mapping (JAVA) ?

Hi Markus,

There is no fixed message size limit,it will vary from system to system depending on various factors like hardware...... but XSLT mapping execution uses more memory(Approx 30 times to message size) when compare with other mapping types(JAVA, Graphical and ABAP).

Thank you for the fast response, are there any values for message sizes that are recommended?

How can I find out the optimal message size for our system? What else than Hardware has an impact on the size?

Hi Markus,

Just go through the belwo thread which talks about the same.

Also go through the mapping performance which helps u in understanding the performance as well.
