Hello Folks, I have installed NW 7.0 ABAP and java double stack system on windows 2003 server with usage type ep, bi, xi di. I have done all the post installation config in the system,
and using 001 client as abap data source for users in the j2ee.
I have generated the sap_BC_jsf_communication user roles in the abap.
but when i am connecting in http://***:50000/useradmin address and loggin on as j2ee_admin and clicking on "create user" it says
"An error occurred; contact your system administrator"
Help me.

Which data source configuration file are you using? If you are using a read-only data source then you cannot create users. See also Read-Only and Read-Write Access to the ABAP User Management in the
[documentation|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/45/af3ac012d32e78e10000000a155369/frameset.htm].

Hi marquis,
when Abap and Java installed together we cannot create users in java. We can create only in abap SU01
and replicate to java engine. thier we can assign java roles to the existing users .
