Hai,
My doubt is about the confirmation of activities.
Assume that I have partially confirmed an activity, say 50%. Now, when I want to confirm the next time, say for a total of 80%, should I enter only 30% or enter the total value of 80%?
Also let me know more about the Final Confirmation indicator.

I guess you are referring to the degree of confirmation and yo can use it to confirm quantities as well.
You should be entering the value as 80% and not 30%. On entering the % processing observe the actual work of the activity is adjusted to 80% of the planned work.
Confirmation in activities is either partial/final
1. If the confirmed quantity is less than the quantity possible, the confirmation is saved as a partial confirmation.
2. If the confirmed quantity is more than (that is, greater than or equal to) the quantity possible, the confirmation is saved as a final confirmation.
If you set the % processing to 100% the final confirmation indicator is automatically set based on the cofig in node 'Define confirmation parameters'

Thank you Sreenivas. Major part of my question is answered.
I finished "Final Confirmation" for an activity. But when I try to confirm the same again, the system is just giving me a warning and not an error.
Regarding this I checked the Change Profile. In this profile, in the "Activity" tab page, against the "Change--->Activity Confirmed", I have selected the "Error" option. Still I am getting only warning. Please clear the above thing.

I don't think change profile has got relevance here.
Only solution I can suggest is set a user status on the confirmed activity.
Use user status and Forbid the business transaction 'Confirm transaction' and set this to the network activity after you have partially/completely confirmed the activity. Use authorisation key/object for control over the status.
