How to deploy an application if using DTR ?

Hi experts,

I m using DTR (Design Time Repository) and after checkin in the activities, how do i deploy the DC ?

When i checked the CBS (Component Build Service), my checkin activity is under "PENDING" state. So how to i get this activity activated ?

Hi,

After checkin in your activity you need to activate your activity in the Activation view.

Hi Daniel,

If you have runtime system configured to your track.

You just have to check in the activity and activate..

But make sure, you have no build errors and donot do a forced activation as it might lead to inconsistent state.

Hi Daniel,

When you check-in your activities, Studio performs a check for predecessors and gives you an option to Activate this activity. If it is clicked the activity is activated in CBS and deployed automatically.

There's a Cancel button in the same screen, and if its clicked then the activity is only integrated and not activated and not deployed.

If you clicked the Activity button, and still the activity is shown Pending, then there's a problem with CBS. In this case,

1)The activity can be activated in CBS (deploy happens automatically)

2)the SC or the compartment can be refereshed

3)if problems persist, restart NWDI and try activating the activity in CBS.
