Clicking functionality in chart

Hi all,

I have created a bar graph that shows year wise bars for sales.

What I want is that when user clicks on any bar, another graph should be displayed that shows month wise bars for that year. How can I do that?

Hi Aisha.

Use a datasource A und put a bar chart A behind it for to show the yearly sales data. Then use a second date source B, which gives you the monthly data und put a line from the out port of chart A to the input of date source B and put a chart B after data source B. Now, if a user clicks on a bar of Chart A the source B will be reloaded and shows the monthly data in chart B.

If you don't want to see both charts, you have to avoid the preselection of the chart, like it is described here with a table: /people/jarrod.williams/blog/2006/12/14/visual-composer-tips-and-tricks

Also you have to set the visibility conditions of the both charts. The conditions have to be the comparable to the condition of the RFC in the blog above.
