XI installation- Service user create failed

When doing the installation of XI 3.0, it fails when it tries to create the service user XIREPUSER. It successfully calls BAPI_USER_CREATE1, but then fails to create it, stopping the installation. What could be the problem and which user is used when calling?

during the installation to connect to R3 what user you are using ? DDIC or your own user when it asks for the user id and password ?

I met the same problems but not sloved. I copy 'DDIC' to zuser with sap_all profile. use FM' bapi_user_create1 ' to creat successful, but still display block error during installing java sr1.

cjs-20037 unable creat abap user j2ee_admin via function bapi_user_create1....
