Upgrade from 46C to ECC 6.0 on Windows with MS SQL 2000 to 2005

I am having trouble planning this upgrade because I cannot find installation software on the SAP web site to install 46C on any server let alone 64 bit. I have the old media from the initial install. Am I going to have to install Windows 2003 32bit OS and do a 32 bit installation on the upgrade server. I had planned on installing the old version on the server and doing the upgrade but it is not that simple. Any help any of you can give me would be appreciated.

Hello Mary,

you need to follow SAP note 862789.

64-bit platform is highly recommended for productive systems (SAP note 996600), but it might happen that there is not native executables for this platform (for example, 4.6 on x86_64). In this case you might need to use 32-bit version for upgrade. Just refer the note for details.
