FJS-00003 Error when installing JAVA add-in to BI 7.0 system

Hi,

I'm running the JAVA add-in for a BI 7.0 system, but it keeps failing at the Prepare to Configure AS Java phase of the installation.

This is MS SQL Server 2000, 32bit W2003 Unicode system, 4Gb Memory.

The error I get is:

Anyone have any ideas??

Did you guys fine a solution for the FJS-00003 issue? We have the same problem while trying to install a Standalone Java instance (MCOD) on an existing ABAP/Oracle system ERP 6.0.

What are the contents for your file /usr/sap/SID/config/usagetypes.properties?

Is the file empty or does it contain useful information?

I once had the error about Simon and Stehpen when trying to install an

AS JAVA via MCOD into a database of an AS ABAP and both instances

had the same SID. This caused usagetypes.properties to be completely

empty and sapinst failed.

I’m trying to install an AS JAVA into a database of an AS ABAP and both instances had the same SID, too. I get the same error during installation.

The file /usr/sap/SID/config/usagetypes.properties is empty.

Any solution? THANKS!

Hi,

Did you guys ever get a solution to this issue? I am also getting exactly the same error and no solution is in sight till now. I have posted the message to SAP and no replies yet from them
