Realignment Performance

We are facing performance issues with the realignment job. When I run the realignment job in the background, the job takes about 25 mts. to complete one step. But, when I look into the job log, the actual realignment was completed in less than 15sec (Step Status changed in realignment table), but the job finishes only after maybe 20 mts. The following is an example of a realignment step that I ran:

Product A

Realigned from Location A to Location B

Delete Source (checked)

Copy Factor - 100%, Copy Logic - A

Does anyone have any suggestions or fix for this problem?

HI..

You take help from your ABAPer and get the job run trace file and see the details... may be to update the table it is taking some time which is not shown in the job log..

Run the job in the foreground and compare it with the background job logs...
