Are they actually checking the XI Start page -> Administration -> Repository -> Manage Locks link?

Usually, Basis consultants tend to think that only because it's not shown in SM12, it's not locked. They tend to forget about Java stack. 😛

Sandeep,

Pinto was talking about the Java home page. Not the SAP gui home page. This administration linke is accessible to only admins.

It has nothing to do with SXMB_ADM.

As I've said, it's in Java Stack.

Go to http://<host>:<port>/rep/start/index.jsp, there is an Administration link in the top part of the page (between Tools and Client Installation Guidelines).

Inside, for Repository tab, go to Administration of Locks and Caches -> Lock overview.

There you can remove the locks (if you have enough authorization).

Check if this object is available in changelists. Either activate or delete the changelist.
