Dear All,
We use SRM 5.0 (SRM server 5.5) and SRM-SUS (SRM server 5.5) on two different servers. This is because of security reasons.
Purchasers access the internal server, suppliers access ONLY the server running SUS.
How is it possible that (what is the best practice):
1.) A purchaser creates a bid invitation, and this bid invitation automatically appears in the SUS system. Note that the link to the inner SRM system is not acceptable.
2.) Also the bid replied by a supplier in SUS should appear automatically in the inner SRM.
3.) Live Auction initiated in the inner SRM should run in the SUS as well.
4.) Master data maintained primarly in the inner system, it should be replicated too (vendor, product, product category).
Thanks in advance for every help.

Hi Farkas
You cannot use SUS for bidding. SUS is used for order collaboration activities. In SUS, you will only have bid invitation/auction notifications but the link belongs to purchasing system only.
If you want to use Bidding, then you need to open your EBP server to suppliers.
Another point:
You do not need product categories and products in SUS system.
Best regards
Ramki

Dear All,
To make clear some points:
We use the inner SRM server for EBP functionality (requisition, order procesing, contract mgmt). The bidding process also initiated in this server to exploit follow-on document functionality (SC->BID, QOUT-> CTR or PO)
We use the outer SRM server for supplier collaboration but we would like to use this server not only for PO collaboration (SUS functionality), but for bid invitation and auction. The customer requirements are to:
- inner SRM should not be accessable by suppleirs (customer in banking sector)
- communication via XI between two SRM servers
- provide collaboration environment for bidding and auctioning for suppliers
The question is how to make a bidding invitation or live auction initiated in the inner SRM to go out into the outer SRM server, and vice versa concerning the suppliers' bid.
We are looking for a standard solution. (if it is possible)
Thanks

Hello,
We have already read these helps and threads.
We know how to send PO and Confirmation between our inner SRM and the outer SUS systems via XI.
We are looking for a standard and exact method for sending Bidding Invitation, Bid, and Live Auction.
Has anyone experience in this?
Please note again that the supplier can ONLY access the outer SUS system!!
Thanks in advance.
