Problems with Deployment

Hi experts!

I tried to deploy an ear-file but didn't work. Got the following error message. Anyone got an idea?

You have not configured your J2EE engine settings in your NWDS. See this doc:

See page 3 to understand how to do this. See page 4 to check whether the J2EE engine has been configured correctly or not.

If you are not aware of you Message Server Port, open the following link:

http://<hostname>:<port>/index.html

Click on System Information. You will be asked for administrator user id and password. Once System Info opens up, you can see the Message Server Port on the top left hand corner in the box titled Message Server.

Hallo Ankur,

thanks for your help and the good documentations.

But my configurations are ok. Still seems to be a networking problem which I have to check with our Network department.

I am also getting similar error while deploying EAR to Portal. Can someone let me know what is the problem.
