Hi!

I use SOLMAN with Oracle on Windows

I cannot back up my redo logs due to the following error:

BR1301W Error message from likeywlib:

===...could not load SSF library sapsecu.dll .

BR1301W Error message from likeywlib: likey_init: Couldn't load

SAPSECULIB ("sapsecu.dll") using function SsfSupInit (), rc = 10.

BR1302E Initialization of license key library likeywlib failed, return code 1

BR0602E No valid SAP license found - please contact SAP

Can some one help me to solve this problem?

Thank you very much!

regards

Thom

You have the sapsecu.dll in your executable directory?

Hi Markus!

Many thanks for your response.

I have SOLMAN installed as a cluster on two server.

I found 2 entries "sapsecu.dll" on the SAPEXE-drive on both server under:

drive:\usr\sap\<SID>\D03\exe

drive:\usr\sap\<SID>\D03\exe_20071113

Can you help how to proceed?

Could it be the issue with the missing env. varible DIR_LIBRARY which should be set as /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/exe/run? (in SAP Note 912969 I found this should be used on Unix systems, but I have Windows)

Thank you!

Hi Siddhesh!

I copied the file sapsecu.dll to the directory C:\Windows\SAPCluster.

Is it comparable with your suggestion?

Now I am waitng for the feedback from DB Administrator.

Thank you!

Hi Thom,

Windows generally keeps its dll files in %windir%\system32 directory so i mentioned it that way.

When Windows will try to load any dll, it will try to search the dll in some known paths and %windir%\system32 is the first path it tries to search.

Hope that helps.

Hi Eric,

which files should be copied into the directory C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64?

- sapsecu.dll or

- sapsecu.dll and LASVerify.pse

- other ?

So it was wrong to copy sapsecu.dll into C:\WINDOWS\SapCluster?

Thank you!

try both files at both location and see what happens.

I do not believe that putting them in the windows directory is a permanent solution but it can help troubleshoot the problem.

have you enabled SNC or single signon?

where do you backup your things? on disk? on tape?

Hi all!

The problem seems to be solved.

We detected that in the PATH the following value was missing:

drive:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS02\exe

So BRARCHIVE could not be started.

Now it looks good.

Thank you!
