Is there an MTE for monitoring long running Jobs ?

I'm not sure I follow. I had looked at that doc before I posted this message but I didn't find anything that was relevant. Maybe I'm missing something here.

The doc helps me set up alerts for long running dialog / background wp. But a background job can and will take multiple wp if Im not wrong, isnt it ? Then there will not be any wp that will be occupied for a long time.

A little more information would help me here.

Hi Kunal,

Monitoring is deactivated by default.To activate the function (create tree in transaction RZ20), check the method CCMS_BATCH_MONITORING in transaction RZ21.

Hi Shyam,

I guess I did not frame my question correctly. I want to monitor jobs which run for longer than a particular period (say 2 hours) and receive alerts. I have configured alerts for Failed Background Jobs, but am looking for the MTE which helps me monitor those jobs that run for more than 2 hours. I'm not sure if there is one.

Im looking to find the MTE rathar than the method.

I was able to find the MTE for long running dialog wp but not jobs.
