Hi,

I am trying to transport the DP objects, planning area, object structure, planning books etc. Is there a particular pattern i need to follow for transport I mean I should send characteristics first, then POS etc.? I would appreciate any online links or document references.

Thanks.

Hi There,

For transporting the objects go to /sapapo/tsobj T-code and select the objects you need to send and release it. If you have BI related stuff like infoobjects try to send them first and then send planning Area and other related objects.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Please assign points if you feel that my answer is related to your question.

Thanks

Try this order

first transport the POS

In the report /spapo/tsobj you can transport the planning area and the infoobjects associated with it

then using the same transaction, the planning books

You would need to transport the characteristics and key figures, before transporting POS and PLanning area.

POS transfer does require as a pre-requisite the characteristics to be present beforehand in target system. You can explore transporting Key figures though with the planning area. Check the option in menu bar when you see the planning area.

Try to search for transport related threads in this forum itself. Am sure this topic has been discussed before.
