SMD: apply support packages

Hi All,

We are currently running SAP solution manager on sp stack 09. We would like to upgrade to sp stack 13. When looking at the contents of the sp stack 13 some 'classic' ABAP support packages and the kernel are involved, however also some SMD components are included. How can I determine what the sp level of our SMD is and how can I update the sp level of our SMD?

Hi,

To check Java compoenents, you can log on to http://host:port/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

and

http://host:port/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo

Then to upgrade you should copy your Software Component to usr/sap/trans/EPS/in and run JSPM.

/usr/sap/XXX/DVEBMGS01/j2ee/JSPM
