j2ee_admin uid not able to create user in java system using visual admin

Hi Experts,

I am not able to create any users in visual admin

using the J2ee_admin user which is the super admin.

Do i need to give any security roles to it so that i can

change the passowrd of other users or create any user.

Are you creating users using "Visual Admin" or "SAP NetWeaver Administrator"?

Check whether it has SAP_J2EE_ADMIN role in ABAP stack and this user assign to Administrator group in UME.

I am not able to create the user in visual admin or

change the password for other users using the

j2ee_admin.Even i am not able to create the user

through ume administartor through web page.

I am trying to assign the role which you have mentioned

to the user j2ee_admin then it says that the user

j2ee_admin does not exsists.

Hi Vamshi,

There is another group under SAP NetWeaver called Security. Maybe there people from security and UME departments can help you.
