Namespace error

Hi Experts,

By mistake I have imported a namespace exported of XI DES in XI PRO.

XI DES :

http://mycompany.com/xiproject/des/prueba

XI PRD:

http://mycompany.com/xiproject/des/prueba

and it should be

http://mycompany.com/xiproject/prd/prueba

How can we correct it?

Thanks in advanced

Hi,

What Prateek is saying is correct, I just forgot that you have imported it from Dev system into Prod system. Actually we should not mention the name of any system in the namespace, coz it doesn't change when you import it from one system to another system.

When u transport the namespace from one landscape to another, the name ll remain same and u cannot rename a namespace. That is the reason y the namespace should not have any mention about the landscape (dev/ prod). But i think in ur case u have to use the same name. Other option is to copy the object in other namespace with required name and use it. But this is not a recommended option

Hi Francisco,

The namespace not apply over groups configuration. Only Business System, communication channel...

Try to don't use this names for namespaces.

Hola Francisco,

Los namespace no aplican sobre configuración de grupos. Solo puedes utilizar cambios de nombre sobre Business Systems, communicatio channel..

Intenta no utilizar nombres de entornos para namespaces. Solo puedes hacer esto de forma manual.

Saludos-Regards,

Iván

Hi,

If you want to change it, then double click on SWCV (Sotware component version) under which these namespaces are located. Now you will be able to see the namespaces, just click on the namespace which you wnat to change and change it.
